The packet contains 50 g of black powdered dye, which is mixed in hot water and is used for dyeing garments as well as for home tie-dyeing. The dye is intended for cotton, linen, denim, canvas, modal, and viscose, which are the natural fibres that make up most of a typical wardrobe. The pigment adheres well to the fabric and retains its colour even after washing and wearing, making it suitable for renovating faded items. The best results are achieved by dyeing at high temperatures, where the colour penetrates deeper into the fibres and the dyeing is even. The larger packaging covers even thicker items, such as jeans or hoodies, and is sufficient for several projects in succession.

Features:

  • Powdered dye 50 g — pour the powder into water at a temperature of 85 to 100 °C and stir until completely dissolved.
  • High-temperature dyeing — higher temperatures help the dye penetrate the fibres, resulting in a more uniform outcome than in lukewarm water.
  • Suitable materials — cotton, linen, denim, canvas, modal, and viscose, which are commonly used at home.
  • Unsuitable materials — wool, silk, polyester, chiffon, and other synthetic fibres, on which the dye does not hold, so please check the composition of the item on the label.

  • Repeated dyeing — if you want a darker result, simply repeat the process with the same item.

Dyeing is straightforward: mix the powder in hot water, immerse the garment for approximately 30 minutes, and turn it every three minutes to ensure even dyeing.
