Data, TV and phone sockets
Data, TV and phone wall sockets bring internet, the aerial signal or a landline exactly where you need them, without cables trailing across the floor. Choose from single and double RJ45 sockets, TV aerial sockets with a coaxial connector, combined TV and data sockets, and telephone sockets.
Data, TV and phone sockets
RJ45 data sockets connect a computer, TV, games console or router to your wired home network. A cable connection is usually more stable than Wi-Fi, less prone to interference and unaffected by wall thickness. Speeds of 10 Gbit/s require cabling and modules rated at least Cat6A.
Aerial sockets with a coaxial connector distribute the signal from the aerial to individual rooms. Combined TV and data sockets bring the aerial output and an RJ45 port together under one cover plate, so a single spot on the wall behind the TV is enough. Telephone sockets are used to connect a landline or DSL modem.
The sockets fit into a flush back box, and their frame can be matched with switches and power sockets. The data cable is connected to the module by punching down the wires with an LSA tool, using the same T568A or T568B wiring scheme at both ends of the cable. Run data and aerial cables separately from mains cables to avoid interference.
