Dining chairs
Comfortable seating at the table in the dining room and the kitchen. Dining chairs include upholstered models with a soft seat, pieces entirely of wood and of metal, versions with or without armrests, and sets of several chairs for one table. They differ in material, seat height, style and load capacity, so they can be matched with the dining table and the whole interior according to the space and the number of diners.
Dining chairs
The place at the table needs seating that withstands daily use while matching the dining table and the rest of the room. Dining chairs cover the whole range — from lightweight wooden and metal pieces to upholstered models with a soft seat and backrest. They are chosen by material, seat height, style and the number of places at the table.
Upholstered and wooden chairs form the basis. Upholstered models with a padded seat and a backrest covered in fabric or faux leather offer softer seating, while chairs entirely of wood and metal wipe clean easily and are hard-wearing. Plastic shell seats on wooden or metal legs combine low weight with a modern look.
Design and comfort decide how it feels to sit. Chairs with armrests support the arms and suit longer sitting, while pieces without armrests take up less room and slide easily under the table. A shaped, slightly reclined backrest supports the back, and a swivel or rocking mechanism adds movement. Seat height is chosen relative to the table so that enough legroom remains between the seat and the top.
Material and upkeep decide the practical side. Wood looks warm and natural, metal and plastic cope better with moisture and wipe down easily, a fabric cover feels pleasant to the touch, and faux leather cleans more quickly. For one table a set of matching chairs is usually bought, coordinated in colour, height and style with the dining table and the rest of the furniture.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): we show offers that match the search term, including those with a small deviation or only a partial match. Their order depends most on how popular the offer is with customers. If you have accepted cookies, the next biggest factor is which categories and offer attributes you have viewed during your current visit. It also matters how popular the offer is for that search term, how closely it matches the term and how popular its category is for that term.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
