Zips, buttons and buckles

Zips, buttons and buckles help you repair or replace fastenings on clothes, bags and suitcases. You will find replacement zip sliders, press stud sets with pliers, invisible sew-on magnetic fasteners and an elastic trouser buckle.

A broken slider does not mean you have to replace the whole zip. The set of 6 replacement sliders in plastic and metal includes two of each of three sizes, from 2.8 to 3.6 cm long. For suitcases and travel bags there is a universal detachable zip head that you can fit without complicated assembly.

Metal press studs with hand pliers come in two sets of 50, one of them in a plastic box with compartments. The pliers fix them firmly to jackets, hats, bags and children's clothing, with no sewing machine needed. For bags, purses, pockets and collars there are 1 cm magnetic fasteners that are invisible from the outside. You can sew them on by hand or by machine, and according to the manufacturer they hold even heavier fabrics or several layers.

A comfortable alternative to a classic belt is the elastic trouser buckle with an adjustable length of 10–50 cm. At 2.5 cm wide it fits most belt loops and stays discreet under clothing.
