Memory Cards

Memory cards are commonly used to store data in portable devices, allowing storage space to be expanded without having to replace the device. The most common variants are microSD cards, suitable for mobile phones and tablets, and classic SD cards used in cameras or camcorders.

Storage size is one of the key parameters and ranges from a few gigabytes up to hundreds of gigabytes. Higher capacity is particularly suitable for storing high-resolution video. In addition, the write and read speed, which affects the smoothness of recording and data transfer, also plays a crucial role.

The choice is also affected by the speed-class markings, for example Class 10, UHS-I or UHS-II. These determine how quickly the card can write data, which is crucial, for example, when recording 4K video. Some models are additionally resistant to water, impacts or extreme temperatures.

Memory cards also differ in compatibility with specific devices, so it is worth checking the supported type and the maximum capacity. The right choice ensures reliable data storage, fast work with files and a long service life for the storage.
