Loft ladders and telescopic wall ladders
Loft ladders and telescopic wall ladders give access to the loft, a mezzanine or the storage space above the garage without taking up space in the room. Ladders with a concertina mechanism fold against the wall after use and protrude only a few centimetres. Choose heights from 1.7 to 3.5 m and a width of 60 or 70 cm.

Wall ladders are fixed to the wall via a 70 cm load-bearing mounting plate that spreads the load over several anchor points. Pull the bottom step to unfold the ladder and fold it back with one hand, helped by a spring at the top bracket. The steel frame withstands repeated use at home, in the workshop or in a storeroom.
Curved handrails on both sides rise about 30 cm above the plate and make stepping into the loft or onto the mezzanine easier. The steps have non-slip covers and the bottom ends in rubber feet that do not slide on tiles. Folded away, the ladders stay out of the way in a hallway or garage and leave the floor clear.
Before buying, measure the vertical distance from the floor to where the plate will go. This determines the height from 1.7 to 3.5 m, while the 60 or 70 cm width depends on the loft hatch or free wall. You can install it yourself, but check the wall's load capacity and the fixings suited to the masonry.
