Appliqués, iron-on tapes and fabric glues help you repair and decorate clothes quickly. You will find a lace appliqué with faux pearls, iron-on hemming tapes for shortening trousers, skirts and sleeves without sewing, and fabric glues for small repairs to clothing and accessories.
Appliqués, iron-on tapes and fabric glues
Dresses, blouses or bridal accessories can be decorated with the 24 × 26 cm lace appliqué with faux pearls. It stands out especially on bridal and evening wear and is easy to sew on.
Adjust the length of trousers, skirts or sleeves without needle and thread using iron-on tapes: place the tape in the fold and iron over it. The tapes, 2 and 5 cm wide on 60 m rolls, also handle thicker fabrics such as denim, canvas or workwear. According to the manufacturer, the wider 5 cm tape gives a firmer hold. The polyester tape in lengths of 1 to 5 m does not come loose in the wash, the manufacturer states.
For small repairs to clothing, bags, curtains or toys, there is quick-drying fabric glue in 15 or 60 ml packs. It is waterproof, odourless and, according to the manufacturer, bonds cotton, denim, polyester, nylon and leather. For maximum strength, leave it to dry for 12–24 hours.
