Window films
Window films let you increase privacy, soften the sunlight and decorate the glass without having to replace the windows. Window films
Window films are thin self-adhesive or static films that are applied directly to the glass and change its properties or appearance. They make it possible to create privacy, limit the entry of sun and heat or simply decorate the window — and all without replacing the glazing. They are used in homes, offices as well as on glass doors and partitions.
Frosted and decorative films let light through but prevent seeing inside; they suit bathrooms, doors or as decoration with patterns and stained-glass imitation. Mirror and solar films reflect part of the solar radiation, reduce glare and overheating of the room and increase privacy during the day. Insulating and safety films help retain heat or reinforce the glass. Many films also block UV radiation, which fades furniture and textiles.
By fixing, self-adhesive films that hold permanently differ from static films that cling without glue and are easily removed or repositioned. The range includes various widths, lengths and patterns.
When choosing, start from the purpose — one film for privacy, another against heat or for decoration. Measure the size of the glass and cut the film with a small margin. Clean the glass thoroughly before applying, apply the film to the moistened surface and squeeze out air bubbles with a squeegee. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
