Label, receipt and document printers
Thermal printers print without ink and toner — using heat alone on heat-sensitive material. Here you will find label makers for binders, cables and parcels, compact receipt printers for 58 and 80 mm rolls, and portable thermal printers that turn out notes or documents straight from your phone. Choose according to material width, connection type and the availability of rolls and cassettes.
Label, receipt and document printers
Small thermal printers have one thing in common: the image is created by heat directly on the material, so cartridges, toner and drying time all disappear. Label, receipt and document printers therefore print anywhere — in the workshop, in the shop, in the car and on the road, often from nothing more than a phone over Bluetooth.
Label makers print onto self-adhesive tapes and rolls: names on binders, marking of cables, containers and food, or addresses and barcodes on parcels. They work either by direct thermal printing or by thermal transfer, where the colour is carried over from a ribbon and the print stands up better to rubbing, moisture and UV.
Receipt and point-of-sale printers print on thermal rolls of the usual 58 or 80 mm width and suit both the checkout and mobile selling, since they mostly run on a battery. Portable thermal printers for documents handle larger formats up to A4 and are good for notes, worksheets, contracts or larger labels — all without a single ink cartridge.
When choosing, watch above all the material width the model is built for, the connection type (Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi), battery life, and resolution for the legibility of small barcodes. Bear in mind as well that direct thermal print fades over time and tolerates neither heat nor direct sun, so it is not suitable for archiving. Rolls and cassettes are often tied to a particular series, so check their availability and price before you buy, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
