Upholstery and repair materials
Foams, upholstery fabrics, webbing and small fittings for restoring and making seating furniture are what upholstery and repair materials offer. They make it possible to replace worn filling, re-cover an old sofa or mend cracked faux leather at home.
Upholstery and repair materials
Restoring a worn armchair or making a new upholstered seat cannot manage without the right raw materials and small accessories. Upholstery and repair materials bring together fillings, cover fabrics and joining parts, thanks to which the life of older furniture can be extended and a project of one's own completed from scratch.
The basis of a soft, comfortable seat is formed by filling materials. Polyurethane (PUR) and foam in sheets and moulded pieces are cut to size and supplied in various densities depending on the load, memory foam raises comfort, while polyester wadding, batting and coconut fibre serve to round off edges and even out the surface.
Appearance and strength are given by the covers and joining parts. Upholstery fabrics, faux leather and genuine leather are chosen according to durability and style, elastic webbing and serpentine (zigzag) springs form the springy base of the seat, and upholstery tacks, staples, buttons, threads and zips ensure a firm, clean joint between the individual layers.
Minor damage can be dealt with even without a specialist workshop. Repair and patch kits for leather, faux leather and textile help to disguise cracks and scuffs, adhesives and sprays fix loosened parts, and with suitable tools, such as a staple gun or an upholstery needle, the filling can be replaced or the whole cover put on afresh. When buying, it is worth matching the dimensions, foam density and fabric colour to the original piece.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
