Knitting
Knitting starts with choosing the right needle size for the yarn thickness. You will find circular knitting needles from 1.5 to 10 mm in lengths of 43 to 120 cm, manual circular knitting machines, a yarn ball winder, blunt tapestry needles for sewing up and combined knitting and crochet sets.
Knitting
The core of your kit is circular knitting needles with stainless steel tips joined by a flexible cable. Use them to knit in the round and flat with wool, acrylic, cotton or blended yarns. Sizes from 1.5 to 10 mm cover thin needles for socks and lace, medium ones for jumpers, scarves and hats, and thick ones for chunky blankets. The length of 43 to 120 cm determines how many stitches the needle holds.
Things go faster with manual knitting machines with 22 or 40 needles arranged in a circle, on which you can knit scarves, hats, gloves or socks. Wind yarn into balls quickly with the 12 × 10.5 cm hand-operated ball winder.
Sew up finished pieces with blunt tapestry needles with a large eye, made of stainless steel and sold in sets of 15 or 20. The rounded tip slips between stitches without piercing the fibres. Beginners will find combined knitting and crochet sets in a handy bag useful, with needles, hooks, scissors and stitch markers, some also with coloured yarns.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
