Rocking chairs
Seating that rocks and brings calm to reading, resting and moments with the baby. Rocking chairs include classic wooden models on curved runners, upholstered relax pieces with armrests, and modern spring and glider variants that glide smoothly back and forth. They differ in mechanism, material, size and whether they belong in the living room, on the patio or in the nursery.
Rocking chairs
Rocking soothes and turns ordinary sitting into a moment of relaxation — with a book, a cup of coffee or while getting a child to sleep. Rocking chairs offer this motion in many forms, from traditional wooden pieces to softly upholstered relax models. They are chosen by rocking mechanism, material, the size of the space and where they will stand.
Classic and upholstered rocking chairs form the basis. Wooden models on curved runners rely on a natural look and lightness, while upholstered relax pieces with a soft seat, headrest and armrests offer comfort for long evenings. Wicker and rattan chairs suit both the porch and a boho-style interior.
The rocking mechanism determines the motion. Curved runners rock classically over the floor, a spring base rocks on the spot and takes up no more room, and a glider slides on a straight path smoothly back and forth. Many relax models are complemented by a footstool or an adjustable backrest for fully stretching out the legs.
Material and placement settle the practical side. Wood and rattan look warm, metal and durable fabrics also cope with the patio and garden, and upholstery and a textile cover add softness to the living room and bedroom. Space should be left around the chair for rocking, and the choice also depends on load capacity and whether it will be used indoors or outdoors.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
