Parking Sensors
Easier orientation when parking makes moving a vehicle in tight spaces safer. Parking sensors warn of obstacles around the car using audible or visual signals, and include rear and front versions for various types of vehicle.
Parking Sensors
Manoeuvring in a small space can be demanding, especially in heavy city traffic. Parking sensors help the driver better judge the distance from obstacles and contribute to safer parking and reversing.
Most commonly used are rear parking sensors, which monitor the space behind the vehicle. On some cars, front versions are also fitted, making parking in narrow spots or slow crawling easier.
They work on the basis of ultrasonic sensors, which assess the distance from an obstacle and alert the driver by sound or on a display. More modern solutions combine an audible signal with a visual display of the distance.
The available versions differ in the number of sensors, the method of installation and compatibility with the vehicle. The choice depends on the size of the car, the accuracy required and the preferred method of warning.
