Dressmaking scissors and tape measures
Dressmaking scissors and tape measures are basic equipment for anyone who sews or alters clothes. You will find double-sided 150 cm tape measures, stainless steel pinking shears for fabric and a sewing gauge with a sliding marker for accurately marking seams and buttonholes.
Dressmaking scissors and tape measures
For measuring the body and patterns, there are plastic tape measures 150 cm long, which the manufacturer describes as very durable. The scale is on both sides, on one model in centimetres and inches with large, easy-to-read markings. The tape wraps easily around the waist, hips or chest, so you can measure yourself at home.
The stainless steel pinking shears measure 23 × 8.7 cm and have a serrated blade with 5 mm teeth. They cut a decorative edge that reduces fraying and also work on lace. The ergonomic handle stays comfortable even during longer work.
For alterations, the plastic sewing gauge is a great help. Use the sliding marker to set the distance you need and quickly mark buttonhole spacing, seam allowance or hem depth. It is also handy for checking an even hem width when shortening trousers.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
