Product Recalls

Lunzo takes any report or complaint relating to product safety extremely seriously, because the safety and well-being of our customers is our highest priority. Lunzo takes every step to investigate thoroughly all product safety reports relating to products sold by an independent third-party seller on the Lunzo platform.

What is a product recall?

A product recall is a measure by which products are withdrawn from circulation if they are found to be defective or unsafe, or to pose a potential risk to consumers or to the environment.

Product recalls are usually announced by the manufacturer, the brand or a market surveillance authority, and the information is spread through several channels – among others direct notifications from regulators, public alerts and databases, or notifications from our sellers. In Ireland the competent authority for product safety is the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), www.ccpc.ie. Lunzo aims to inform every consumer who has bought a recalled product as quickly as possible after we learn of the recall.

Have you received a recalled product?

If you have bought a product on Lunzo that has been recalled, you should receive an email from us notifying you of the recall, which will contain details of your order, including the product name and the order number.
