The different types differ mainly in material and method of use. Classic elastic hair ties provide a firm hold and suit most hairstyles. Also popular are fabric hair ties (scrunchies), which are gentler on the hair while also acting as a striking accessory.
For fine or delicate hair, spiral hair ties are often used, as they minimise breakage and leave no marks. Thick and long hair, by contrast, requires firmer versions that keep the hairstyle stable all day.
Not only the type of hair but also the purpose of use plays an important role. Softer materials suit everyday wear, while for sport you will appreciate a firmer and more durable design. A well-chosen hair tie makes styling easier and contributes to comfortable wear without unnecessary strain on the hair.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): we show offers that match the search term, including those with a small deviation or only a partial match. Their order depends most on how popular the offer is with customers. If you have accepted cookies, the next biggest factor is which categories and offer attributes you have viewed during your current visit. It also matters how popular the offer is for that search term, how closely it matches the term and how popular its category is for that term.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
