Pinus nigra subsp. laricio, the Corsican form of black pine, is a mature hardy coniferous tree that features a straight trunk and a regular conical crown. The tree grows upright and, in maturity, serves as a striking specimen. It is among the hardy conifers suitable for our conditions and is cultivated in gardens or in pots during the early years.
