This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and twelve individual spools of thread with a thickness of 0.35 mm. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the bobbin is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the bobbin to the needle, creating a strong saddle stitch similar to that of a sewing machine. You will receive 12 spools of thread, each in a different colour. The thin thread is ideal for where the stitch should be discreet and neat.
The standard equipment includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L and a length of 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and a length of 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, while the thinner one is 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle according to the material. You can change the needle with the metal wrench and loosen the screw holding the bobbin in the head of the awl using the included cross screwdriver. In addition to the twelve coloured spools, the package also includes three smaller spools of thread in black, white, and brown.

The 0.35 mm thread is appreciated when sewing wallets, card holders, diary covers, key fobs, and other small products made of thinner leather. It is also suitable for fine repairs of seams on clothing accessories. Before sewing, mark the seam line or pre-puncture the material to ensure the stitch is straight and even. Store the loose spools in a dry place after use to prevent the thread from tangling.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
