This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a spool, fifteen separate spools of 0.35 mm thick thread, and ten replacement gold needles. The awl features a handle made of beech wood and a black metal head with a window where the spool is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the spool to the needle, creating a strong stitching seam similar to that of a sewing machine. The set includes 15 spools of thread, with five each in black, white, and brown. The fine thread in classic colours is suitable where the seam should be discreet and neat.
The standard equipment includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L, and a length of 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and a length of 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, and the thinner one 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle according to the material. Additionally, you will receive ten replacement gold needles, giving you a total of sixteen needles, so you can quickly replace a blunt or broken needle with a new one.
