This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and fifteen separate spools of thread with a thickness of 0.55 mm. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the bobbin is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the bobbin to the needle, creating a strong stitch similar to that of a sewing machine. You will receive 15 spools of thread, five each in black, white and brown. The thicker thread in classic colours is suitable for seams that need to withstand greater stress.
The standard kit includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L and a length of 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and a length of 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, while the thinner one is 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle according to the material. You can replace the needle with the metal key and loosen the screw holding the bobbin in the head of the awl with the included Phillips screwdriver. In addition to the fifteen spools of thread, the package also includes three smaller spools in black, white and brown that fit directly into the awl.

The thread 0.55 mm is suitable for repairing footwear, saddlery products, work bags, tool cases and heavy canvas. The awl can also handle seams on tarpaulins or upholstery. Before sewing, mark the seam line or pre-punch the material to ensure the stitch is straight and regular. Store the spools in a dry place after use to prevent the thread from tangling.
The WUTA set with thicker thread is designed for work where a strong and durable seam is required. The awl with a beech handle and unwinding thread allows for quick hand stitching with control over each puncture. Six needles in two sizes, a key and screwdriver facilitate needle and bobbin replacement. Black, white and brown thread covers common shades of leather and five spools of each colour will suffice for larger projects. The thread thickness of 0.55 mm creates a prominent and sturdy seam.

How do I return goods?

- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
