This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a spool and twelve separate spools of thread with a thickness of 0.45 mm. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the spool is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the spool to the needle, creating a strong stitch similar to that of a sewing machine. You will receive 12 spools of thread, each in a different colour. The medium thickness thread is a universal choice for most common leather work.

The standard equipment includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L, and a length of 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and a length of 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, while the thinner one is 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle according to the material. You can change the needle with the metal key and loosen the screw holding the spool in the head of the awl using the included cross screwdriver. In addition to the twelve coloured spools, the package also includes three smaller spools of thread in black, white, and brown.
