This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a spool, fifteen individual spools of 0.45 mm thick thread, and ten spare gold needles. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the spool is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the spool to the needle, creating a strong stitch similar to that of a sewing machine. You will receive 15 spools of thread, five each in black, white, and brown. The medium-thick thread in classic colours is a versatile choice for most common leatherwork tasks.

The standard equipment includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L and length 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and length 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, while the thinner one is 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle based on the material. Additionally, you will receive ten spare gold needles, giving you a total of sixteen needles, so you can easily replace a dull or broken needle with a new one. Use the metal key to change the needle and the included cross screwdriver to loosen the screw that holds the spool in the head of the awl. Besides the fifteen spools of thread, there are also three smaller spools in black, white, and brown, which fit directly into the awl.
