This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and a box with the strongest thread available, designed for robust seams. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the bobbin is stored. When sewing, the thread unwinds directly to the needle, creating a sturdy stitch similar to that of a sewing machine. The box with compartments contains 25 spools of thread with a thickness of 0.65 mm, each in a different colour. The strong thread stands out especially on thicker leather and for decorative stitching.

The set includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L and length 45 mm, while five chrome-plated needles are size S and length 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, and the thinner one 1.5 mm. You can replace the needle with the metal wrench and loosen the screw that holds the bobbin in the head of the awl with the cross screwdriver. Additionally, you receive three spools of thread in black, white, and brown.

Thread 0.65 mm is suitable for heavy leather, belts, straps, horse harnesses, work bags and shoe repairs, where a distinctive and sturdy seam is required. The awl can also handle thick canvas and heavier leather. Mark the sewing line in advance or pre-puncture the material to ensure an even stitch. After use, wipe the awl and store the spools back in the box.
