The WUTA set includes a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and a box containing a supply of medium thickness thread for everyday leather work. The handle of the awl is made from beech wood and features a black metal head with a window for the bobbin. The thread unwinds itself to the needle during sewing, creating a strong stitch that resembles a sewing machine stitch. In the plastic box, you will find 25 spools of thread with a thickness of 0.45 mm, each in a different shade. This thickness is universal for common leather products and canvas.

The package includes six needles in two sizes. The needle with a titanium coating in gold has a size of L and a length of 45 mm, while five chrome-plated needles of size S measure 39 mm. The thinner needles have a diameter of 1.5 mm and the thicker ones have a diameter of 2 mm. You can change the needle using the metal wrench, and the bobbin in the head of the awl is released with a cross screwdriver. Additionally, you will receive three separate spools of thread in black, white, and brown.

The 0.45 mm thread is suitable for bags, belts, cases, book covers, and wallets, as well as for repairing torn seams on shoes and backpacks. With the awl, you can stitch regular leather, thicker canvas, and heavier materials. Before sewing, mark the seam line or pre-punch it. After use, wipe the awl and store the spools back in the box with compartments.
