This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and fifteen individual spools of 0.65 mm thick thread. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the bobbin is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the bobbin to the needle, creating a sturdy stitching similar to that of a sewing machine. You will receive 15 spools of thread, five each in black, white, and brown. The strongest thread in the range in classic colours stands out on thick leather and decorative stitching.
The standard equipment includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L, and a length of 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and a length of 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, and the thinner one 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle based on the material. You can replace the needle with the metal key and loosen the screw that holds the bobbin in the head of the awl using the included cross screwdriver. In addition to the fifteen spools of thread, the package also includes three smaller spools in black, white, and brown, which fit directly into the awl.

The 0.65 mm thread is suitable for thick leather, belts, straps, collars, horse harnesses, and work bags, where a prominent seam is required. The awl can also handle heavy canvas. Before sewing, mark the seam line or pre-puncture the material, ensuring the stitch will be straight and even. Store the spools in a dry place after use to prevent the thread from tangling.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
