This WUTA set combines a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and twelve individual spools of thread with a thickness of 0.65 mm. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the bobbin is stored. The thread unwinds directly from the bobbin to the needle, creating a strong stitch similar to that of a sewing machine. You will receive 12 spools of thread, each in a different colour. The strongest thread in the range stands out on thick leather and decorative stitching.
The standard equipment includes six needles in two sizes. One needle has a titanium coating in gold, size L and a length of 45 mm, while the other five are chrome-plated in size S and a length of 39 mm. The thicker needle has a diameter of 2 mm, the thinner one 1.5 mm, allowing you to choose the needle based on the material. You can replace the needle with the metal key and loosen the screw that holds the bobbin in the head of the awl with the included cross screwdriver. In addition to the twelve colourful spools, the package also includes three smaller spools of thread in black, white, and brown.

The thread 0.65 mm is suitable for thick leather, belts, straps, collars, horse harnesses, and work bags where a prominent seam is required. The awl can also handle heavy canvas. Before sewing, mark the seam line or pre-puncture the material to ensure a straight and regular stitch. Store loose spools in a dry place after use to prevent the thread from tangling.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
