The standard WUTA set includes a hand sewing awl with a bobbin and all the accessories for comfortable sewing of leather, canvas, and other heavy materials. The awl features a beech wood handle and a black metal head with a window where the bobbin with thread is stored. The thread unwinds directly to the needle, creating a strong stitch that resembles a sewing machine stitch. You will receive a total of 6 needles in two sizes, allowing you to choose according to the thickness of the material. The set is delivered in a box, which also allows for neat storage.
One needle has a gold titanium coating and is size L, while the other five needles are chrome-plated in size S. The thinner needles have a diameter of 1.5 mm, and the thicker ones 2 mm, but both sizes create a sufficiently large hole for the thread to pass through. The chrome-plated needles are of a common type, so replacements can be easily found. A metal key is used to secure the needle, and a cross screwdriver is included for loosening the screw that holds the bobbin. Three spools of waxed thread in black, white, and brown cover the most common shades of leather.

The awl is suitable for repairing seams on shoes, bags, belts, and harnesses as well as for making wallets, cases, and covers from leather. It can handle regular leather, heavy canvas, and thicker leather. For a straight stitch, mark the sewing line in advance or pre-puncture the material. After use, wipe the awl and store it in the box where the needles, spools, and tools will be kept together.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
