This wool felting kit featuring a design of a waterfall between stones and flowers will bring a piece of nature into your home that you create yourself. The fabric has a pre-printed outline of the entire design, which you gradually fill in with individual colours of wool. The finished picture is stretched into a round frame with a diameter of 20 cm, which also serves as a wall hanging. The package includes 4 felting needles measuring 7.8 cm in length, a foam pad, a template, and instructions. With this kit, even beginners can easily master needle felting.
The picture depicts a waterfall cascading between dark stones into a blue water surface, bordered by red, white, and yellow flowers. The individual elements made of wool stand out above the surface of the fabric, giving the picture a three-dimensional effect. While working, you place the fabric on a foam pad, into which the needle safely penetrates after passing through the fabric. First, you loosen the wool into thin strands and then work it into the designated areas with short jabs.
The principle of needle felting is simple: a special needle has tiny barbs at the tip, which push the wool fibres deeper into the fabric with each jab. By repeating the jabs, the wool becomes firm and creates a continuous surface. At the waterfall, you can mimic flowing water and light reflections with white and blue strands of wool. Creating this piece will take several evenings and has a pleasantly calming effect, as you focus solely on the colours and shapes.

Start with larger areas, such as the water and stones, and leave the small flowers until the end. The instructions recommend attaching the frame only after completing the felting. Handle the needles carefully, as they are very sharp, and place them in a safe location between uses. Keep the finished decoration clean by gently dusting it.
