Wooden Component for Busy Board Rainbow with Sliding Balloon Wavy Track Montessori Sensory Board for Children's Fine Motor Skills and Coordination
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The wooden component for a busy board featuring a rainbow design is intended to complement a home active board for young children. The printed board has a cut-out wavy track, along which the child slides a wooden balloon from one side to the other. The movement around the curves requires concentration and dexterity in the fingers, making this piece suitable for practicing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The colourful image with a rainbow, blue sky, and white clouds captures children's attention at first glance. The piece fits into the Montessori concept, which is based on independent exploration and the repetition of simple activities.
The board has holes for attachment around the edges, allowing parents to screw it onto their own busy board, onto the wall of a children's corner, or onto a wooden board designed according to their own specifications. This enables the creation of an active board tailored to the child's interests, which can be gradually expanded with additional elements. The balloon is set in the track, and the child moves it back and forth along the entire length of the track. Playing with the slider teaches the child to plan movement, track the path visually, and adjust the force of their hand to the shape of the track.
Similar sliding elements are among the most popular parts of active boards, as they provide immediate feedback to the child. Every movement is visible, the balloon changes position above the rainbow, and the child can verify for themselves how far they have moved. The piece can be combined with locks, latches, gears, or threading elements to create a vibrant board with many activities in one place.

The wooden surface can be wiped with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and the piece should not be left in moisture or direct sunlight. When attaching to the board, it is advisable to choose screws of appropriate length and ensure that the piece is securely held. The play of small children should always be supervised by an adult.
The piece with the rainbow and sliding balloon is a simple way to expand the home active board with another interesting activity. The wavy track offers repetitive play, during which the child trains their fingers and concentration. The colourful print gives the busy board a cheerful appearance and is suitable for both a child's room and a playroom. Thanks to the holes for screws, installation is quick, and the piece can later be relocated elsewhere. It is a practical addition for parents who enjoy creating their own Montessori toys.
