Before first use, rinse the test tube and fill it with clean water up to about two-thirds. Insert the cutting so that the bottom end of the stem is submerged and the leaves remain above the water level. Change the water regularly to keep it clean, and simply pull the test tube out of the grip when changing. Wipe the wooden holder with a dry or slightly damp cloth and protect it from prolonged contact with water. Once the cutting has developed sufficiently strong roots, you can transplant it into a pot with substrate and place another cutting in the test tube.
