The ventilated lens hood for filter threaded 55 mm lenses shields the front lens from light coming from the side and at sharp angles. Glare and light veiling are thus reduced, making outdoor photographs appear more contrasted and clearer. The hood easily screws onto the thread at the front of the lens and does not require any additional adapter. The package also includes a lens cap to keep the front lens protected between shots. The set is suitable for digital SLRs and mirrorless cameras from various brands.
The hood is made of metal, has a black finish, and is adorned around the edge with longitudinal openings in the style of classic ventilated hoods. According to the manufacturer, the lens cap can still be used with the hood attached, allowing both to be on the lens simultaneously. The cap attaches to the lens using two tabs that can be released by pressing in the centre. It is useful for photographing landscapes, urban scenes, portraits in nature, and while travelling on bright days.
It is beneficial in every season. It helps when shooting at the seaside, in the snow, in the mountains, or near shop windows and other shiny surfaces that strongly reflect light. When photographing the city in the evening, it reduces glare from lamps, reflectors, and other point lights. Additionally, it partially protects the front lens from unwanted fingerprints.

Before screwing it on, clean the lens thread of dust and tighten the hood only by hand without excessive force. Keep the surface of the hood clean with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth. When transporting the camera in a bag or backpack, keep the lens cap on to ensure the front lens remains clean.

- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
