Valve caps with a distinctive design protect the wheel valves from dust, mud, water, and salt that gets onto the road in winter. The package contains 4 caps, just enough for all the wheels of a passenger car. The material is aluminium alloy, which is lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. The surface is finely knurled, so the cap does not slip in your fingers while screwing it on. The caps are designed for standard Schrader valve, which are found on passenger cars, motorcycles, and many bicycles. Unlike ordinary plastic caps, they do not crack due to frost or sunlight and will last for many seasons. A well-tightened cap prevents water and small debris from entering the valve, which could damage the valve insert or complicate pressure measurement and inflation.

Changing the caps can be done in seconds. Simply unscrew the old cap, wipe the valve clean of sand, and screw on the new cap by hand until it seats. Excessive force is not necessary. During each pressure check, you will loosen the cap, and after inflating, you will tighten it again. For maintenance, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth occasionally to keep the knurling clean. If you wash your car in a car wash or with high-pressure water, just leave the caps on and dry them after washing if necessary. When changing wheels, set the caps aside to avoid mixing them with other parts, and after changing the tyres, easily return them to the valves.
Aluminium valve caps are a practical replacement for lost or damaged plastic caps and also serve as a subtle decoration for the wheels. The three wide glossy grooves give the valves a refined appearance on any rim. - We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
