The TTC Frozen V2 silent linear switches are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want smooth operation without a tactile bump and the quietest keystroke possible. This is the second generation of the Frozen model, which features both the upper and lower housing made of transparent plastic, with a white-silver spring and contact leaf inside. The switches have 3 pins and an MX type cross stem, allowing you to use standard keycaps. The actuation force is only 39 gf, making it easy to press the keys, and your fingers won't tire as much even during extended typing sessions. The package contains 70 switches, which will cover a keyboard with up to seventy keys, such as a compact layout with arrow keys.

The damping is provided by a ring on the stem and a pad at the bottom of the switch, which dampens the impact of the key when pressed and when it returns to its original position. The transparent housing along with the light guide inside the switch allows the RGB backlighting of the keyboard to shine through, and the light is diffused throughout the entire key. The pre-travel is 2.0 mm and the total travel is 3.5 mm, so the actuation is short and uniform throughout the length. The manufacturer states a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, meaning the switches can withstand even intense daily typing and gaming.

Before replacing, ensure that your keyboard supports MX type switches with 3 pins, whether in hot-swap sockets or soldered to the board. Before inserting, check that the pins are not bent, and if necessary, straighten them carefully. Insert the switch straight and without excessive force to avoid bending or breaking the pins. Attach keycaps straight onto the cross stem and use a suitable puller when removing them. Until you insert the switches into the keyboard, store them in a dry place and protect them from dust.

The TTC Frozen V2 switches are suitable for typing in the office, in shared spaces, or at home when you don't want to disturb others with loud clacking.
