Triple Ocarina 16 Holes Tuning Alto C Length 16.8 cm Front Mouthpieces Multicoloured Marbled Surface Musical Instrument for Advanced Players
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The triple ocarina is a wind instrument for players who find the range of a classic single-chamber ocarina insufficient. This model features 16 holes divided among three chambers and is tuned in Alto C, one of the most commonly used tunings for both solo and ensemble play. Each chamber has its own mouthpiece, allowing for smooth transitions between them while playing, enabling melodies to continue higher than a single chamber would allow. The instrument is primarily designed for advanced and professional players who wish to perform more challenging pieces. With a greater number of holes, you have more options to control pitch and expression.
The ocarina is available in a Front Opening design, which has mouthpieces located on the front of the instrument. Its striking appearance is enhanced by a multicoloured marbled surface, featuring intertwining gold, red, green, and dark streaks. Each piece thus appears slightly different, making the instrument appealing not only in sound but also visually. The shape, with a flat bottom and sloped top edge, fits comfortably in both hands and allows easy access to all holes. The length of the instrument is approximately 16.8 cm and the thickness is 4.6 cm, making it large enough for a secure grip while still fitting into a backpack or music bag.

Before playing, it is advisable to warm the instrument in your hands for a while, as temperature affects tuning and tone purity. After playing, wipe the ocarina with a soft dry cloth, allow it to air dry, and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Protect it from falling on hard floors and from impacts; a soft case or fabric cover is useful for transport. Do not clean the mouthpieces with sharp objects, as this may damage their edges, which affect the resulting sound.
The triple ocarina in Alto C tuning is a suitable choice for players looking to expand their repertoire with pieces that have a wider range. The combination of three chambers and 16 holes provides space for more complex melodies, rapid runs, and expressive playing. The front mouthpiece design and colourful surface make it a striking instrument for concerts, rehearsals, and home practice. It also makes a great gift for a musician who already masters the ocarina and seeks a new challenge. With the Alto C tuning, you can easily play along with piano, guitar, and other instruments.
