Leveling clips in a pack of 100 pieces are part of a tile leveling system that helps keep adjacent tiles at the same height and with a regular joint. Each clip creates a joint width of 3 mm, making them suitable wherever you want wider and clearly visible joints. The clips are made of transparent plastic and measure 33 x 35.5 mm. They are used when laying ceramic floor tiles as well as when tiling walls. The wider 3 mm joint is ideal for tiles with less precise edges or for a rustic floor appearance.

The clip has a base that fits under the edges of two adjacent tiles, and the upper part has an opening 21 mm wide, into which the leveling wedge is inserted. After inserting and tightening the wedge, the edges of the tiles are pressed together into a single plane and will not shift during the adhesive setting. The height from the base to the break point is 17.5 mm. The width of the base determines the joint, therefore all clips in the pack will create an equally wide 3 mm joint across the entire surface.

The process is simple. Insert the base of the clip under the edge of the tile into fresh adhesive and place the adjacent tile. Insert the leveling wedge into the clip opening and tighten it by hand or with leveling pliers. One tile is usually secured by four clips with wedges, and for larger formats, even more. After about 24 hours, when the adhesive sets, you can knock off the top part of the clip with a rubber mallet or by kicking it in the direction of the joint. The bottom part remains hidden under the tile, and the wedges can be reused, while the clips are disposable.
