Leveling clips in a pack of 100 pieces are part of a tile leveling system that helps maintain adjacent tiles at the same height with an even joint. Each clip creates a joint width of 1 mm, making it suitable for areas where you want very narrow and discreet joints. The clips are made from transparent plastic and measure 33 x 35.5 mm. They are used for laying ceramic tiles on floors as well as for wall tiling. A narrow joint of 1 mm is often chosen for rectified tiles with precisely ground edges.

The clip has a lower base that fits under the edges of two adjacent tiles, and an upper part with a hole 21 mm wide, into which the leveling wedge is inserted. After inserting and tightening the wedge, the edges of the tiles are pressed together into one plane, and during the setting of the adhesive, they will not shift. The height from the base to the breaking point is 17.5 mm. The width of the base determines the joint, so all clips in the pack will create an equally wide joint of 1 mm across the surface.

The process is simple. Insert the base of the clip under the edge of the tile into fresh adhesive and place the adjacent tile. Insert the leveling wedge into the clip's hole and tighten it by hand or with leveling pliers. One tile is usually secured by four clips with wedges, or more for larger formats. After approximately 24 hours, when the adhesive has set, you can knock off the top part of the clip with a rubber mallet or by kicking it in the direction of the joint. The bottom part will remain hidden under the tile, and the wedges can be reused, while the clips are disposable.
