Overview
Stirling Engine with Generator and USB Connector 16.5 x 9.5 x 13 cm Single-Cylinder Hot Air Model Metal Gold Physics Experiment

The single-cylinder Stirling engine is a functional model of a heat engine that converts heat from a flame into the motion of a flywheel. The model features a metal construction with a shiny gold finish and stands on a sturdy base with feet. With dimensions of 16.5 x 9.5 x 13 cm, it comfortably fits on a workbench, shelf, or in a display case. The engine operates on the principle of external combustion, so heat is supplied by a small alcohol burner located directly on the base. The movement of the piston, lever, and flywheel is clearly visible, making the model suitable for teaching physics as well as serving as an interesting technical decoration.

Included with the model is a small generator that converts the flywheel's rotation into electrical current. The current is output via a cable ending in a USB connector, allowing for a clear demonstration of the entire process from heat to mechanical motion to electricity. The flywheel, adorned with decorative spokes, spins smoothly once heated, and the entire mechanism is visible from all sides. This model will be appreciated by students, teachers, DIY enthusiasts, and collectors of technical toys who want a truly functioning machine on their desk and enjoy demonstrating it to family, friends, or classmates during discussions about energy transformations.

  • Type – single-cylinder Stirling engine with external combustion
  • Heat Source – alcohol burner
  • Generator – yes, with a cable ending in a USB connector
  • Material – metal
  • Surface – shiny gold
  • Dimensions – 16.5 x 9.5 x 13 cm
  • Fuel – alcohol with a concentration of 95% or higher, not included
  • Recommended Age – from 12 years
  • Contents – Stirling engine model with generator on a metal base and glass alcohol burner

Before the first operation, manually rotate the flywheel to ensure it spins easily, and check that the sliding parts are clean. Fill the burner with alcohol no more than two-thirds full, light it under the front part of the cylinder, and after approximately one minute, gently spin the flywheel. The engine will then continue to rotate on its own. With the generator connected, heating takes a little longer. During operation, do not touch the heated cylinder or metal parts connected to it to avoid burns. Use the model on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from easily flammable objects, and always extinguish the burner after the experiment. Store alcohol separately in a closed container.

The Stirling engine model combines an engaging demonstration of thermodynamics with an elegant appearance that adorns any desk or shelf. Thanks to the generator, it is possible to demonstrate not only the generation of motion but also the production of electricity. To operate, you only need alcohol, as the glass alcohol burner is directly included with the model. The product is intended for users from 12 years and contains small parts, thus it is not suitable for small children. It makes a perfect gift for technology enthusiasts, students, and physics teachers.
