The mechanical steering wheel lock with a double hook is a simple and visible protection for personal cars, vans, SUVs, and smaller trucks against theft. The bar is placed across the steering wheel rim, both hooks catch onto opposite sides, and upon extension, the lock clicks into place. The steering wheel cannot be fully turned, making it impossible to drive the vehicle normally. The telescopic body adjusts in the range of 42 to 67 cm, making it suitable for most standard steering wheels. Locking and unlocking is ensured by a copper lock cylinder operated by the supplied keys.

Installation is quick and can be done without tools or a key. Simply shorten the bar so that it is slightly shorter than the diameter of the steering wheel, catch one hook on one side of the rim, the other hook on the opposite side, and extend the bar until it fits securely. The lock will automatically engage, and to unlock it, simply turn the key and retract the bar. After removal, it can be stored under the seat, in the door pocket, or in the boot.
