The silicone drain strainer is a simple hair catcher that is suitable for both the bathroom and the kitchen. The square mat measuring 15 x 15 cm is placed directly over the drain in the shower, bath, sink or kitchen basin. It captures hair, fur, food residues, and other small debris that would otherwise flow down the drain with the water. The strainer is made of flexible silicone, allowing it to adhere well to the surface around the drain and be easily bent, lifted, and rinsed. Water flows freely through the dense network of small holes, while debris remains on the top side of the strainer, from where it can be easily removed.
On the underside, there are suction cups in the corners that keep the strainer in place even when water from the shower or tap is falling on it. In the centre of the strainer is a prominent swirl pattern made of raised ribs, which gives the mat a sturdier shape while also looking neat in both the bathroom and kitchen. The square shape with rounded corners fits over standard round and square drains and floor outlets. The strainer is low and flat, so it does not obstruct when showering or washing dishes, and you do not need to move it aside for normal use.
- Type – drain strainer and hair catcher
- Material – silicone
- Dimensions – 15 x 15 cm
- Shape – square with rounded corners
- Attachment – suction cups on the underside
- Surface – dense network of holes and swirl pattern in the centre
- Usage – shower, bath, sink, floor outlet, and kitchen basin
- Maintenance – rinse under running water
- Package contents – 1 silicone drain strainer
Maintenance is very easy. After showering or washing dishes, simply lift the strainer by the edge, dispose of the captured hair and debris in the bin, and briefly rinse the mat under running water. The silicone can be bent, so the debris comes loose from the holes almost by itself, and the strainer is ready to use again in no time. Before placing it back, simply press the suction cups lightly against the surface around the drain to keep the strainer in place. Regularly emptying the strainer helps keep the drain clear and reduces the buildup of debris in the pipes.
The silicone drain strainer is a practical helper for every household, capturing hair and small residues before they reach the drain. The size 15 x 15 cm covers the drain in the shower, bath, sink, and kitchen basin. The flexible material and suction cups on the underside ensure that the strainer lies flat and does not slide. Cleaning takes just a few moments and requires no chemicals. Thanks to the swirl pattern in the centre, the strainer maintains its shape well and looks clean and tidy in both the bathroom and kitchen.
