The silent linear switches TTC Frozen V2 are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want a smooth operation without a tactile bump and the quietest keystroke possible. This is the second generation of the Frozen model, which features both upper and lower housings made of transparent plastic, along with a white-silver spring and contact leaf inside. The switches have 3 pins and an MX type cross stem, allowing you to use standard keycaps. The operating force is only 39 gf, making it easy to press the keys, and your fingers won't tire even during extended typing sessions. The package includes 50 pcs of switches, sufficient for equipping a smaller keyboard with up to fifty keys or replacing the letter and number keys.

The damping is ensured by a ring on the stem and a pad at the bottom of the switch, which dampens the impact of the key both during pressing and when returning to its original position. The transparent housing along with the light guide inside the switch allows the RGB backlighting of the keyboard to shine through, dispersing light across the entire key. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 mm and the total travel distance is 3.5 mm, resulting in a short and even stroke throughout. The manufacturer states a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, ensuring the switches can withstand intensive daily typing and gaming.

Before replacing, ensure that your keyboard supports MX type switches with 3 pins, whether in hot-swap sockets or soldered to the board. Before inserting, check that the pins are not bent, and if necessary, carefully straighten them. Insert the switch vertically and without excessive force to avoid bending or breaking the pins. Attach keycaps straight onto the cross stem and use a suitable puller when removing them. Until you insert the switches into the keyboard, store them in a dry place and protect them from dust.

The TTC Frozen V2 switches are suitable for typing in an office, shared space, or at home when you do not want to disturb others with loud clicking.
