Silent linear switches TTC Frozen V2 are designed for mechanical keyboards where you want smooth operation without a tactile bump and the quietest keystroke possible. This is the second generation of the Frozen model, which features both upper and lower housings made of transparent plastic, along with a white-silver spring and contact leaf inside. The switches have 3 pins and a cross-shaped MX stem, allowing you to use standard keycaps. The actuation force is just 39 gf, making it easy to press the keys, and your fingers won't tire as quickly even during prolonged typing. The package contains 40 switches, suitable for compact keyboards with fewer keys or for replacing a larger portion of keys.
Dampening is provided by a ring on the stem and a pad at the bottom of the switch, which reduces the impact of the key when pressed and when it returns to its original position. The transparent housing along with the light guide inside the switch allows the RGB backlighting of the keyboard to shine through, dispersing the light throughout the key. The pre-travel distance is 2.0 mm and the total travel distance is 3.5 mm, resulting in a short and even stroke throughout. The manufacturer claims a lifespan of 50 million keystrokes, ensuring these switches can withstand intensive daily typing and gaming.

Before replacing, ensure that your keyboard supports MX type switches with 3 pins, whether in hot-swap sockets or soldered to the board. Before inserting, check that the pins are not bent, and if necessary, gently straighten them. Insert the switch perpendicularly and without excessive force to avoid bending or breaking the pins. Place the keycaps straight onto the cross-shaped stem and use an appropriate puller when removing them. Until you install the switches in the keyboard, store them in a dry place and protect them from dust.
The TTC Frozen V2 switches are suitable for typing in the office, in shared spaces, or at home when you do not want to disturb those around you with loud clicking. The linear action without a click and tactile bump will be appreciated by gamers and those who type a lot on their keyboards. Forty pieces are suitable for compact keyboards with fewer keys or for replacing most letter keys on a standard keyboard.
