Shrink plastic, also known as shrink film, is a material from which you can create original keyrings, earrings, charms, and other small items at home. The package contains five sheets in size A4 210 x 297 mm, providing ample space for a variety of smaller designs on one sheet. The film is 0.3 mm thick and has two different sides. One side is smooth and the other is matte with a roughened surface, making it suitable for drawing and printing. After cutting out and heating, the design shrinks and hardens into a solid plastic decoration.

You can draw designs by hand using coloured pencils, markers, or a pencil, or you can simply print them. The matte side is intended for printing on an inkjet printer, allowing you to transfer your own images, photographs, text, or names onto the film. This is particularly practical when you want to create multiple identical pieces, such as charms for an entire class, gift tags, or a set of magnets. After printing, allow the ink to dry thoroughly to prevent smudging during further work. The smaller package of five sheets is ideal for trying out the technique or for a one-off creative project.

Working with the film is easy. Draw or print your design on the matte side and cut it out with scissors. If you want to make a charm, punch a hole in it before heating, as the film becomes rigid after shrinking. Then heat your creation in the oven or with a heat gun, directing the hot air evenly in circles. During shrinking, the film may curl and twist, which is normal. After further heating, it will return to a flat shape. Allow the finished piece to cool and add a ring, clasp, or hook to it.

Shrink plastic is suitable for home crafting, art clubs, school projects, and making personal gifts. The A4 format allows you to layout both large and small designs on one sheet, and thanks to printing, you can create charms exactly according to your own template. When baking, just maintain a temperature of 130 to 150 °C and a time of several minutes. The package contains 5 sheets, from which you can create a range of small decorations. The film is suitable for adult creators as well as for collaborative crafting with children under adult supervision.
