The SHAHE 5140 digital caliper with a measuring range of 0 to 150 mm is a practical tool for precise measurements in the workshop, during repairs, and for home projects. The measured value is displayed on a large LCD screen with green backlighting, making it easy to read even in poor lighting, and it automatically turns off after 10 seconds. The caliper operates with a resolution of 0.01 mm and the reading can be switched between millimetres and inches with a single button press. The body, main scale, and measuring jaws are made of stainless steel, and the display unit has a metal cover. The position of the jaws is detected by a capacitive sensor with a glass measuring grid.
The caliper can perform four types of measurements: external diameter, internal diameter, depth, and seating. It is suitable for engineering, metalworking, modelling, and 3D printing, as well as for checking screws, nuts, bearings, or small household items like jewellery. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.02 mm, which covers most technical and hobby tasks. The ZERO button allows you to set the zero point at any jaw position, making it easy to compare the difference between two parts. The locking screw secures the sliding part in the set position, so the value does not change when removing it from the workpiece, and the inch wheel allows for fine adjustment of the jaws. The body of the caliper is marked with an IP54 rating against dust and splashing water.

Insert the battery into the compartment on the underside of the display unit. After use, wipe the caliper dry, remove dirt and chips from the scale, and store it in the plastic case, where it is protected from drops and scratches. Do not expose the caliper to strong impacts or prolonged moisture to maintain its accuracy, and when not in use for an extended period, turn off the display using the ON button.
The SHAHE 5140 with a range of 150 mm is a universal size for everyday measurements in the workshop and at home. - We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
