The SHAHE 5113 Digital Depth Gauge with a measuring range of 0 to 200 mm features a stainless steel measuring rod ending in one hook, allowing it to accomplish more than a standard depth gauge with a straight rod. The hook can catch the lower edge of a groove, notch, or fitting, measuring the distance from it to the surface on which the base rests. The cross base, measuring 100 mm in length, holds the rod perpendicular to the measured surface. The measured value is displayed on an LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm, and with a single button, you can switch to inches. Both the body of the gauge and the rod are made of stainless steel.
The longer rod compared to the 150 mm version is suitable for deeper holes and higher fittings when inspecting turned and milled parts, in toolmaking, and in machine maintenance. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.03 mm for the 200 mm length. The position of the rod is detected by a capacitive sensor with a glass measuring grid. The ZERO button allows you to zero the display at any position, making it easy to measure the difference between two levels. The locking screw secures the rod in the measured position, and the inch wheel aids in fine adjustments. Under the cover on the top side of the display unit is a data connector.

The CR2032 battery is inserted into the compartment under the rotating cover on the front of the display. Before each measurement, wipe the contact surface of the base and the hook to prevent chips or oil from affecting the result. Protect the hook from impact and bending, as its shape affects measurement accuracy. After use, turn off the gauge, clean it with a dry cloth, and store it in the case away from moisture and strong magnetic fields. If you do not use the depth gauge for an extended period, remove the battery.
The SHAHE 5113 with a length of 200 mm combines a larger measuring range with a hook at the end of the rod, allowing it to measure dimensions that the rod cannot reach. The rod made of stainless steel, the stable base measuring 100 mm, and the readable display enable quick and repeatable measurements. Zeroing and locking facilitate serial inspection of parts in the workshop and production. The plastic case protects the gauge during storage and transport.
