The SHAHE 5113 digital depth gauge features a measuring range of 0 to 150 mm, with the measuring rod ending in a hook, offering additional measurement capabilities compared to a standard depth gauge. The hook allows the rod to be secured against the lower edge of a groove, notch, or recess, measuring the distance from this edge to the surface on which the base rests. The gauge stands on a cross base that is 100 mm long, holding the rod perpendicular to the measured surface. The value is displayed on an LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm and can be switched to inches. Both the body and the rod are made of stainless steel.
The depth gauge with hook is useful in engineering, for checking turned and milled parts, in toolmaking, and in maintenance. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.02 mm for the length of 150 mm. The position of the rod is detected by a capacitive sensor with a glass measuring grid. The ZERO button allows you to reset the display at any position, enabling you to measure the difference between two levels. The locking screw secures the rod in the measured position, and the inch wheel allows for fine adjustment. Under the cover on the top of the display unit is a data connector. The hook also serves as a solid stop, allowing you to rest the rod against an edge and measure repeatedly from the same point.

Insert the CR2032 battery into the compartment under the rotating cover on the front of the display. Before measuring, wipe the contact surface of the base and the hook at the end of the rod to avoid contamination affecting the result. Protect the hook from impacts and bending. After use, turn off the depth gauge, clean it with a dry cloth, and store it in the plastic case away from moisture and strong magnetic fields. For long-term storage, remove the battery.
The SHAHE 5113 with hook expands the classic digital depth gauge with a hook at the end of the rod, allowing you to measure dimensions that a straight rod cannot reach. The rod is made of stainless steel, with a stable base length of 100 mm and a clear display ensuring quick and repeatable measurements. Zeroing and locking facilitate serial inspection of parts.
