The SHAHE 5113-300B Digital Depth Gauge is the longest version in this series with a measuring range of 0 to 300 mm and a stainless steel rule ending in a double hook. The hooks extend on both sides of the rule, allowing you to catch them under the lower edge of an indentation, groove, or fitting on both the left and right, even when it lies deep within the workpiece. The cross base, measuring 100 mm in length, stands over the hole and holds the long rule perpendicular to the measured surface. The measured value is displayed on an LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm, which can be switched to inches with the press of a button. Both the body and the rule are made of stainless steel.

The long rule with hooks is useful for large workpieces, deep pockets, high fittings, and internal indentations in engineering, toolmaking, and machine maintenance. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.04 mm for the 300 mm length. The position of the rule is detected by a capacitive sensor with a glass measuring grid. The ZERO button allows you to reset the display at any position, enabling you to read the difference between two levels directly without calculation. The locking screw secures the rule, allowing you to read the value calmly even after removing it from the workpiece, and the inch wheel is used for fine adjustments. Under the cover on the top side of the display unit is a data connector.

Insert the CR2032 battery under the rotating cover on the front of the display unit. Before each measurement, wipe the contact surface of the base and both hooks from chips and oil to ensure the result is not distorted. Protect the long rule and hooks from falling, impact, and bending, as their shape affects accuracy. After use, turn off the depth gauge, clean it with a dry cloth, and store it in the case in a dry place away from strong magnetic fields. Remove the battery during prolonged storage.

The SHAHE 5113-300B combines the largest range in the series with hooks on both sides of the rule and measures even deeply embedded internal shapes that a shorter depth gauge cannot reach. The rule made of stainless steel, stable base length of 100 mm, and clear display ensure quick and repeatable measurements. Zeroing and locking facilitate the inspection of a series of identical parts. The plastic case protects the gauge during storage and transport between workplaces.
