The SHAHE 5113-150 digital depth gauge with a measuring range of 0 to 150 mm is designed for precise measurement of the depth of holes, grooves, counterbores, and the height of fittings. Unlike a standard caliper, it features a wide cross bridge of 100 mm in length, which rests on the edge of the workpiece and keeps the gauge perpendicular to the measured surface. The measured value is displayed on an LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm, eliminating the need for tedious readings from a Vernier scale. Both the main body and the measuring rail are made of stainless steel. The position of the rail is detected by a capacitive sensor with a glass measuring grid.

The depth gauge is applicable in engineering, metalworking, toolmaking, modelling, and even in home projects involving wood and plastic. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.02 mm for this model, making it the most precise version in the entire 5113 series. The ZERO button allows you to set zero at any position of the rail, making it easy to measure the height difference between two surfaces. The in/mm button switches the display between millimetres and inches, and the ON/OFF switch conserves battery life. The locking screw above the display secures the rail in the set position to prevent the value from changing after removal from the hole, and the thumb wheel allows for fine adjustment of the rail. Under the cover on the top of the display unit is a data connector.

Insert the CR2032 battery into the round compartment on the front of the display unit, which can be opened by turning the cover. Before measuring, wipe the seating surface of the base and the end of the rail, as even a small chip can distort the result. After use, turn off the gauge, clean it with a dry cloth, and store it in the plastic case, where it is protected from impact and dust. Do not expose the depth gauge to prolonged moisture or strong magnetic fields.

The SHAHE 5113-150 is a compact digital depth gauge for everyday depth checks in the workshop and at home. Thanks to the measuring rail made of stainless steel and a stable base of 100 mm, the gauge remains perpendicular during measurement, and results are repeatable. The display with a resolution to hundredths of a millimetre is easy and quick to read. The case facilitates safe storage and transport between workstations.
