The digital calliper SHAHE 5100 with a range of 0 to 300 mm is designed for measuring large parts, plates, profiles, and long workpieces, where a standard measuring tool up to 150 mm is insufficient. The large LCD display shows the measured value with a resolution of 0.01 mm, and you can switch between millimetres and inches with the press of a button. The ruler, jaws, and depth measuring tongue are made of stainless steel, while the electronic body is plastic. The outer jaws, measuring 60 mm, can grip wide and hefty parts, while the inner jaws measure 26 mm. The total length of the measuring tool is 390 mm.

The ABS button toggles between absolute and relative measurement. In relative mode, you can set zero at any dimension, and the display shows only the difference, allowing you to easily compare parts with a template or check an entire series. The manufacturer specifies an accuracy of ±0.04 mm for this length, and the position of the slider is detected by a glass measuring grid. A metal locking screw secures the jaw in the set position, a metal wheel under the display allows for smooth movement with your thumb, and the ZERO button resets the display anywhere within the range.

Always store the long measuring tool in the plastic case after use to prevent the ruler from bending and the jaws from being damaged. The measuring surfaces can be wiped with a dry cloth. The battery can be inserted under the round cap on the front of the body, which opens by twisting. When measuring long parts, hold the calliper with both hands, and if you are not using it for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the battery.
