The SHAHE 5100 digital calliper with a range of 0 to 150 mm is a practical measuring tool for workshops, manufacturing, and home DIY, where it is necessary to quickly determine the precise dimensions of smaller components. The value is displayed on a large LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm, so there is no need to read anything off a vernier scale. The main rule, outer and inner jaws, and depth gauge tongue are made of stainless steel, while the electronics housing is made of plastic. The total length of the calliper is 235 mm, with outer jaws measuring 40 mm and inner jaws 20 mm. It can measure external and internal dimensions, depth, and seating.

The 5100 model features an ABS button that allows you to switch between absolute and relative measurements. In relative mode, you can set zero at any dimension, and the display then shows only the deviation from that, which is useful for checking a series of parts. The manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.02 mm, and the position of the slider is detected by a glass measuring grid. Other buttons allow you to turn the calliper on and off, reset to zero with the ZERO button, and switch units between millimetres and inches. A metal locking screw secures the jaw in the set position, and a metal thumb wheel allows for fine adjustments.

To insert the battery, open the round plastic cover on the front of the body by twisting it. After finishing work, turn off the calliper, wipe the measuring surfaces with a dry cloth, and store it in the plastic case, which protects the jaws and display from impacts and dust. Before each measurement, close the jaws and check that the display shows zero.

The SHAHE 5100 digital calliper is suitable for engineering, locksmithing, carpentry workshops, car services, modelling, and home repairs. The electronics are protected by an IP54 rating against dust and splashing water, making the calliper suitable for typical workshop environments. The ABS function along with zeroing facilitates comparative measurements, and the four measuring modes cover most everyday tasks.
