The SHAHE 5000 digital calliper with a range of 0 to 300 mm is the longest version in this series and is suitable for any situation where a standard measuring tool is insufficient. The stainless steel ruler, jaws, and depth gauge are complemented by a plastic cover for the electronics in silver. The measured value is displayed on an LCD screen with a resolution of 0.01 mm without needing to read from a scale. It measures external and internal dimensions, the depth of holes, and the height of offsets. The total length of the measuring tool is 390 mm.

The extended external jaws, measuring 60 mm, and internal jaws of 26 mm can reach dimensions further from the edge of the workpiece. For a range of 300 mm, the manufacturer states an accuracy of ±0.04 mm, with the position of the slider detected by a glass measuring grid. Units can be switched between millimetres and inches with a button, and the ZERO button allows you to reset the display at any position, which is useful when comparing the difference between two parts. Fine adjustment is ensured by a metal wheel, and the set position is secured by a metal locking screw.

The battery is inserted under the round cover on the front of the case, which opens by twisting. After use, switch off the long measuring tool, clean it with a dry cloth, and return it to the included plastic case, where it is protected from impacts and dust. If not used for an extended period, remove the battery. Before measuring, close the jaws and check the zero on the display. The jaws are not intended for scribing or as a pry bar. With a long ruler, also ensure that it does not bend or fall on a hard floor when stored, as this could affect measurement accuracy.

The SHAHE 5000-300 calliper is suitable for engineering workshops, metalworking, machine construction, carpentry, and automotive services where longer profiles, plates, and flanges are measured. The electronics are protected by an IP54 rating against dust and splashing water. Thanks to its stainless steel construction and four measuring modes, you can accomplish most tasks with one tool. The 300 mm range covers dimensions that smaller measuring tools cannot handle. The silver cover distinguishes it from other measuring tools in the workshop.
